Where should I fly in?

McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxvillle is the closest and recommended airport (Approximately 1 hour away). Alternative but further away airports include Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), Chattanooga Airport (CHA) and Nashville International Airport (BNA).

Where should I stay?

Our preference is for all our guests to stay at one of the locations listed on our travel tab. A shuttle service will be provided to and from these three locations. See the travel tab for links to websites and wedding blocks.

What if I don't want to stay at one of the listed accommodations? Can I drive myself to the venue and not use the shuttle?

Due to the mountaintop location of our wedding venue, there is no guest parking. Keep in mind this is a busy time of year for the area and you should stay close to the venue to avoid traffic delays. If you choose to stay elsewhere, you will need to park at the Smoky Mountain Ziplines gravel parking lot located at 509 Mill Creek Rd, Pigeon Forge, TN and board the shuttle from there. A shuttle schedule will be provided to you closer to time. The shuttles will remain on site for the entire evening should you need to depart early.

Will you need to know where I am staying?

Only if you are staying at a shuttle location. If you are staying at one of the three accommodations we recommend for the shuttle we will need to know where your party is staying. We will collect this information in the formal RSVP.

What time are events taking place on the wedding day?

The ceremony is planned to take place around 3PM. Your arrival time will be determined by the shuttle schedule, which will be provided at a later time.

Will I have to move locations between the ceremony and reception?

Nope! It is all one venue for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

What is the dress code on the wedding day?

We request semi-formal attire. We have attached a link if you need a reference. Remember that it will be fall in the mountains and might be chilly! We hope for gorgeous weather, but recommend keeping an eye on the weather. Thanks! https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-semi-formal

Is the venue outside?

The ceremony is planned to be outside, but may be moved inside if the weather is poor. The reception will take place inside, but we plan on opening up the doors and enjoying the fresh mountain air! Similar to the ceremony, dancing is planned to be outside if weather permits.

Can I bring an extra guest? What about an extra child?

No, only the individuals (adult or child) listed on the invitation will be able to attend. Any extra individuals that were not listed will be asked to leave as our venue strictly enforces a guest limit.

Can I take photos of the ceremony?

No! We are paying for photographers and videographers to capture this special moment for us. We ask you to respect our wishes and keep all devices away during our ceremony and remain present with us. We encourage you to take and share as many photos as you wish during cocktail hour and our reception! Thank you!

Will there be planned activities before the wedding day?

Probably! More information to come. Any additional activities will be voluntary and at your own cost.

Will there be events after the wedding day?

No we will not have any official events after the wedding, but we encourage you to spend time enjoying the area if you can!

Do you have a registry?

Yes! It is listed on our wedding website.
